Privacy Policy

This policy covers the ClutchUp app and clutchup.games, operated by Cache Studios LLC (“we”, “us”). It describes the current free-to-play beta, in which no real money is used. If we add features that change what we collect, we’ll update this policy before they launch.

What we collect

• Account details. If you sign in with Apple, we receive an identifier for your Apple ID and, if you choose to share it, your email address (which may be an Apple private relay address). If you sign in with email, we receive your email address. We also store the username shown to other players.
• Sign-in and session records. One-time sign-in codes (stored only in hashed form) and the IP address used when you sign in or refresh your session. We use these to keep your account secure.
• Device information. Your device model, iOS version, app version and, if you allow notifications, a push notification token.
• Gameplay. The moves you make in each round, your scores, your Duel results, and your coin balance and history. We record moves so our servers can replay a round and confirm its score is fair.

What we don’t collect

This beta does not collect your location or date of birth. It has no advertising, no third-party analytics or tracking, and does not access your contacts, photos or advertising identifier.

How we use it

To run your account and the games, match you with opponents, decide results fairly, send the notifications you’ve allowed (such as when a Duel’s result is ready), prevent cheating and abuse, keep the service secure, and respond to you when you contact us.

What other players see

Your username and the score of each round you play are shown to your Duel opponents. Your email address is never shown to other players.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for advertising. We use these service providers to run ClutchUp, only for that purpose:

• Cloudflare: hosting and network delivery.
• Neon: our database, hosted in the United States.
• Apple: Sign in with Apple and push notifications.
• Resend: delivering email sign-in codes.

We may also disclose information when required by law, or to protect the safety of our players or the integrity of the games.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app: Account → Delete account. Your account is closed immediately and you’re signed out on every device. Your personal information (email, username and sign-in details) is erased 7 days later; until then, you can contact us to restore the account. Some records, such as game results and coin history, are kept without your name or email where needed to keep past results accurate and to meet legal obligations.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including California, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy of it, to have it corrected or deleted, and not to be treated differently for exercising these rights. Email us to make a request.

Children

ClutchUp is not intended for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, sign-in codes are stored only as hashes, and access to our systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
